Executive Chef

Second Chef | Arcare Templestowe

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Second Chef to join our team at Arcare Templestowe.

As a Second Chef, you will be responsible for providing quality meals and refreshments to residents that meet their individual needs, in accordance with Arcare's Values.

You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standard and that the kitchen is run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of meals
• Manage the kitchen inventory and ordering of supplies
• Ensure that all food handling practices are maintained
• Participate in menu planning and special diet preparation

About You:

You will be a flexible and courageous individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service.

You will have a commercial level of knowledge of menu planning, ordering, and special diet preparation.

You will be able to work well within a team environment and ensure that all staff maintain safe food handling practices.
