Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Project Officer to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans, producing accessible and Plain English content for various channels.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting strategic direction to project areas to drive behavioural change through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Developing and delivering best practice communication and engagement plans with measurable impact.
  • Contributing within a project management framework including strategic planning, reporting and forecasting to identify priority areas for communication and engagement.
  • Making decisions, with support and direction from line managers, on complex communications and engagement projects.
  • Experience working with change management, delivering sustainable behavioural change within agile project management methodology.

The ideal candidate will have Australian citizenship and possess experience in public sector project management, strategic planning, and account management.

This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible contract spanning 12 months, with potential for extension.

On offer are flexible working arrangements, including remote work and on-site work, with expected hours of an average of 37.5 across a five-day working week.
