Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Planner to join our Road Operations Supply Chain team at Port Kembla Manufacturing facility in New South Wales. As part of the Australian Steel Products portfolio, we operate six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla, delivering high-quality products, services, and solutions to both domestic and international customers.

This dynamic role will see you supporting the NSW Processing & Logistics team nationwide to ensure our products reach customers on time and efficiently across road and rail networks. You will utilize your expertise in logistics processes to develop and execute transport plans that achieve safe and efficient product movement and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating relationships between carriers, dispatch points, and planning teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with operations and planning teams to monitor information and priorities, ensuring accurate scheduling of products for distribution on our road networks.
  • Executing transport plans at a national level and effectively monitoring warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, including transport, sales, and warehouse teams, to coordinate efficient and cost-effective delivery schedules for customers.
