Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Installation and Maintenance Assistant to join our dynamic team at our branch in Karratha, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintaining, and installation of works associated with our site accommodation function within our Karratha branch and out on the road at job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all portable building installations are completed on time, as per specifications, and are compliant with relevant Australian building codes.
  2. Assist in planning and coordinating the transport of portable buildings and materials to site for installations.
  3. Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs of toilets and portable buildings, which are on hire at customer sites.
  4. Assist to resolve any service issues with hire items on site and ensure accurate recording of asset numbers for the exchange items.
  5. Build and maintain strong working relations with key suppliers and contractors.
  6. Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed and submitted.

Requirements:

  1. Trade or maintenance background/qualifications such as carpentry or plumbing desirable.
  2. Current driver's license.
  3. Forklift, EWP, or OHS cards/licenses not essential but are highly regarded.
  4. A strong focus on safety and safe work practices.
  5. Ability to solve problems and make correct decisions.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers.
  7. Current driver's license and White Card are essential.
  8. Forklift License and Safe Working at Heights Permit are desirable.
