Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled SAP MM Consultant to join our team in a client-facing role in our customer support team for the digital supply chain. The successful candidate will work on tickets and incidents, providing advice, assistance, and solutions to our customers in SAP Materials Management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and solutions to customers in SAP Materials Management through active engagement and relationship building.
- Support customers in areas such as Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Outline Agreements, Info records, Release Procedures, Release strategies, Inventory Management, GR, GI, Movement Types, Reservation, Transfer Posting, Stock Transfer, Invoice Verification, Automatic Account Determination, Valuation, and Physical Inventory process.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software faults related to end-user devices.
- Respond to high-priority issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with customers to analyse requirements and develop fit-for-purpose SAP solutions leveraging industry and platform best practices.
- Configure the relevant components of the solution.
- Test and Data Migration activities.
- Continuously improve upon the business experience and identify solutions where efficiencies can be achieved.
- 3-5 years experience consulting in SAP Material Management ideally in an Australian setting in the resources industry.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Ideally relevant SAP certification.
- Ideally ITIL certification.
- Proficiency in Business Process Designing, Blueprinting, Configuration, Unit & Integration testing, Training, Documentation & Production support.
- Ability to manage own workload independently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills.
- Experience in a consulting practice environment.
This is a client-facing role that requires strong communication and consulting skills. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to analyse requirements and develop fit-for-purpose SAP solutions.
