Teaching Artist Opportunity in Performing Arts Education

We are seeking experienced teaching artists to join our team at NIDA Open, delivering performing arts education courses and learning experiences for children, young people, and adults.
Job DescriptionThis is a casual teaching opportunity based in Sydney. As a teaching artist, you will work collaboratively with our program management team to deliver classes within your area of expertise and interest.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality performing arts education programs for diverse age groups
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement engaging lesson plans
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress
- Relevant tertiary qualification in performing arts or education
- Proven experience in teaching performing arts disciplines (e.g., drama, music, dance)
- Industry-recognized skills and qualifications
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive hourly rate: $40-$60 AUD per hour
