Job Title: Clinical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic Specialist Community Mental Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering outstanding clinical care to our patients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a passion for mental health to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive clinical care coordination, develop diverse professional portfolios, and conduct thorough assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive clinical care coordination, facilitating communication and collaboration between patients, clinicians, and community stakeholders.
  • Develop diverse professional portfolios, gaining experience in depot and clozapine clinics, supporting consumer fitness groups, and facilitating therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, utilizing your expertise to perform mental health and psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Support team leadership, collaborating with the Team Manager to contribute to a cohesive and efficient team environment.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, engaging in clinical auditing, research, and evaluation initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes and service delivery.

About You
  • You are a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
  • You are enrolled in an approved mental health course or qualification in mental health practice.
  • You have demonstrated clinical expertise and experience in mental health services.
  • You have strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • You have a commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
