We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic Specialist Community Mental Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering outstanding clinical care to our patients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a passion for mental health to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive clinical care coordination, develop diverse professional portfolios, and conduct thorough assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive clinical care coordination, facilitating communication and collaboration between patients, clinicians, and community stakeholders.
- Develop diverse professional portfolios, gaining experience in depot and clozapine clinics, supporting consumer fitness groups, and facilitating therapeutic interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments, utilizing your expertise to perform mental health and psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Support team leadership, collaborating with the Team Manager to contribute to a cohesive and efficient team environment.
- Contribute to quality improvement, engaging in clinical auditing, research, and evaluation initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes and service delivery.
- Engaging and diverse clinical portfolios, gaining experience in various settings and interventions.
- Collaborative and supportive team environment, working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to client well-being.

- You are a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
- You are enrolled in an approved mental health course or qualification in mental health practice.
- You have demonstrated clinical expertise and experience in mental health services.
- You have strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- You have a commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
