We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team at our brand-new, purpose-built site in Truganina. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mega Distribution Centre.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling docks for all inbound loads, receipting all inbound stock in SAP EWM, and preparing shipping paperwork for local and international freight. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient scheduling, delivery, and pick-up of containers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule docks for all inbound loads to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Receipt all inbound stock in SAP EWM and ensure accurate inventory management
- Prepare shipping paperwork for local and international freight to meet regulatory requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Investigate issues related to damaged stock, unsafe loads, and discrepancies for inbound freight
- Provide administrative support to internal warehouse teams as needed
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with knowledge of logistics and distribution centre operations
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to detail
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships
- A can-do attitude with proactive problem-solving skills
- A safety-first approach with passion for continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (EWM)
