Job Role

The primary objective of the Massage Therapist is to deliver exceptional massage and spa treatments in a luxurious environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct consultations with guests prior to treatments, assessing their skin type and requirements.
  • Offer body and facial waxing services, as well as other pampering treatments such as facials, manicures, pedicures, and spa rituals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for repeat guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Deliver high-quality massage services using various techniques and products, tailoring each session to individual needs.
  • Provide soothing body treatments using scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, promoting relaxation and rejuvenation.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and workstations to meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness throughout shifts, disposing of waste and securing equipment at the end of each service.
  • Anticipate and address guest needs, verifying any contraindications before commencing treatment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in massage therapy, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Proficiency in various spa treatments, including facials, body treatments, and massage, with confidence in executing complex procedures.
  • Previous experience working in upscale establishments, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a diploma in Beauty Therapy or Certificate IV in Massage, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong connections with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations, building lasting relationships through attentive service.
  • Reception experience in similar environments is highly valued, showcasing adaptability and versatility.
