We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Chandler Macleod. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and representing the Agency's interests across various forums.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and document current business processes to create a baseline understanding of the current situation and processes.
- Create and facilitate process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.
- Provide program/stream level analysis and produce required analysis documentation.
- Support the Product Owner in elaborating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps with input from SMEs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and design.
- Lead the transition of business requirements to build teams for development.
- Support verification testing of the built solution to ensure alignment to business requirements.
- Business process analysis: Proficiency in analyzing and documenting current state versus future state process maps.
- Requirement gathering: Ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements into Epics and User Stories.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Testing: Ability to undertake systems testing against defined acceptance criteria during the build and testing cycles of development.
- Stakeholder engagement: Facilitating workshops with other stakeholders, Business Analysts, User Experience, and User Interface (UX/UI) Designers, and technology teams.
- Risk assessment: Identifying potential issues or risks, tracking problems, recommending alternatives, and escalating issues as appropriate.
- System thinking: Developing and maintaining subject matter expertise across new systems and processes within the NDIA.
- Data analysis: Skill in analyzing data to identify trends and insights.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban.
- Business Analysis Tools: Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence for documentation and workflow management.
- Process Improvement: Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with team members from various disciplines.
- ASAP start pending Federal Police Clearance.
- 12-month temporary assignment.
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
- Location: Adelaide.
- EL1 - $602.55 per day + super.
