Your Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform global joint venture accounting processes.">
  • Work closely with other finance teams globally.">
  • Ensure accounting for non-operated JVs is in compliance with accounting principles and regulations and Joint Operating Agreements.">
  • Provide support to the FP&P team for non-operated JV-related queries.">
  • Prepare JIBs working files for non-operated JVs and post monthly JIBs into SAP.">
  • Process monthly cash calls received from non-op partners into SAP.">
  • Act as an administrator for the AFE module and provide support to FP&P for AFE module-related queries.">
  • Assist with joint venture audit requirements.">
  • Provide support to Group Reporting as required through the completion of month-end activities such as CJEs, Trial Balances reviews, and LHN commentaries.">
  • Prepare General Ledger reconciliations.">
  • Assist with special projects as needed.">
  • Ensure work is compliant with all statutory requirements, including tax, SOX, and audit compliance and Woodside Code of Conduct.">
  • Act as a backup to other JV accountants during leave and other absences.">

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance. Accounting qualifications are not mandatory, although you may be studying towards an accounting qualification or professional certification.">
  • A working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP environment.">
  • Previous joint venture and SOX compliance experience would be beneficial.">
  • Ability to work independently, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and set and meet deadlines.">
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities and a continuous improvement mindset.">
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written.">
