Effective supply chain management is a critical component of any retail organization.

About the Role

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless and timely tasks relating to goods inbound and outbound processing, including receiving, ticketing, and security tagging. This individual will also maintain the dock and reserve drop-off areas, prepare for deliveries and high intake of goods, and ensure task rotation amongst the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower team members to achieve efficiency in inventory management, stock loss prevention, and waste reduction practices.
  • Investigate store reports to assess and action stock variances.
  • Develop and implement effective waste management and Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices related to the logistics function.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Inspire and develop the logistics team to build individual capability.

A inspirational leader with strong people management skills, experience in a similar role within a retail environment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment is required. Excellent written, listening, and spoken communication skills, multi-tasking abilities, and self-motivation are essential.
