We're seeking a seasoned DevOps professional to spearhead our cloud infrastructure transformation. If you excel in high-pressure settings where uptime is non-negotiable, we invite you to manage and refine multiple AWS environments with robust monitoring and automation that minimizes incidents.

This role demands both wide-ranging and deep expertise. You'll be responsible for enhancing reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product lineup by implementing effective monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and plan intricate infrastructure transformations, including moving from legacy systems to the AWS cloud and conducting lift-and-shift migrations.
  • Craft and implement monitoring strategies, along with developing automation for monitoring, software deployment, and operational workflows.
  • Carry out system monitoring, conduct system backups, respond to incidents, migrate databases, configure databases, and optimize costs.
Requirements:
  • Extensive AWS infrastructure knowledge (our primary platform—other cloud experience alone isn't sufficient).
  • Proficient programming skills in Python or JavaScript for developing automation and tools.
  • Proven experience in managing and migrating production databases with various engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL).
  • Advanced skills in Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Expertise in Linux systems administration.
About the Role:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, equating to $100,000 USD/year assuming 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly.
