About the Role
A pivotal position, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact as an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, specializing in contaminated land, with Scotford Fennessy, a prominent national consulting firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations, including soil, groundwater, surface water, and over-water sediment sampling, in connection with site assessments.
- Investigate contaminated sites, groundwater, asbestos, site remediation, acid sulfate soils assessments, and waste classification.
- Log subsurface and contamination conditions in the field.
- Oversee contractors, such as drilling rigs, excavators, service locators, and traffic control crews, to complete works on schedule.
- Apply relevant WA and Australian guidelines for contamination assessment and remediation.
- Adhere to relevant Work Health and Safety requirements.
- Prepare reports and proposals for site investigations and inspections.

About You
We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist with circa 5-7 years of contaminated land experience. Relevantly experienced candidates with 3+ or 8+ years of relevant experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Salary and Benefits
We will negotiate a salary package commensurate with capabilities and experience, circa $90,000 – $120,000+ + superannuation.
