About the Role

Healius is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Scientist to join its team. This individual will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic testing, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing using advanced technology and techniques.
  • Store and retrieve specimens with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain and operate complex laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Accurately record and document test results and other laboratory data.
  • Assist with stock control and management of laboratory supplies.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain patient privacy at all times.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will need to have a strong foundation in laboratory science and technology. A Diploma of Laboratory Technology or Associate Degree is required, and previous experience in diagnostic testing is highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Healius offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and generous paid time off.
