Job Title: Leading Hand – Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at O'Connors in Forbes. As a Leading Hand, you will play a key role in developing and leading our service team, providing leadership, training, and mentoring to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing and implementing service strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the service team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations
  • Work closely with the service manager to ensure the department is running efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a service or maintenance environment
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of agricultural equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
