Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Lending Specialist to join our team at the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to connect with new and existing customers by phone and via our online platform to understand their business needs.
You'll use your expertise in lending and cash flow concepts to make tailored recommendations to address customer requirements. Successful candidates will complete a Commercial Banking induction to get up to speed.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for helping customers and an understanding of the fundamentals of lending. The role leads to many career pathways within commercial banking and across the rest of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accepting inbound calls or appointment requests in a timely manner to meet customer experience SLAs and objectives.
- Engaging in outbound customer calls to facilitate customer onboarding and discover additional customer needs.
- Providing high-quality customer service to a diverse range of small business customers.
- Tracking, managing, and actioning various tasks autonomously.
- Providing appropriate solutions to customers.
- Building and maintaining strong internal networks.
- Meeting assigned performance targets through needs-based conversations and cross-selling.
- Engaging in needs-based conversations with new and existing small business customers.
- Managing referrals to specialist teams to support customer requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- Customer solutioning skills to support customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services.
- Fulfilment of end-to-end execution of processes to achieve customer or end-user outcomes.
- Knowledge of small business operations, transaction banking, and working capital solutions.
- Proficiency in credit assessment and management.
- Business development skills to partner with individuals and/or organizations to pursue strategic initiatives, relationships, and opportunities.
- Relationship management skills to build, maintain, and influence relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Financial acumen to evaluate the impact of business decisions.
- Knowledge of lending and cash flow needs and solutions.
