Restaurant Manager

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for food, team management, and event coordination?
  • This role is essential in maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness while also driving profitability and enhancing the guest experience.
  • This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring staff and willing and able to jump into any position when needed as well as manage the banquet events.

About this Role:

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Actively manage and support all kitchen staff during operation
  • Actively manage and support all servers and bartenders during operation
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to maintain stock without overextending resources.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Work a consistent schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 11 : 30 am to 7 : 30 pm BUT must be available and flexible to come in early or stay late
  • Coordinate with Front-of-house and events teams to plan and execute in-house events, private parties and special functions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for food service and customer satisfaction is essential; culinary experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Strong cooking skills with the ability to step into any back of house position
  • Excellent leadership & organizational skills
  • Calm, composed and great customer focused especially under pressure
