Job Opportunity: Painter Blasters

We are seeking experienced Painter Blasters to join our dynamic team for exciting projects in the Northern Territory. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and blasting as needed.
  2. Apply protective coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  3. Ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
  4. Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently and safely.
  6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  7. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Minimum 2 years' proven experience and valid nationally recognized Trade Certification in painting and blasting at various levels.
  2. Previous experience within the mining & resources industry or similar.
  3. Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in the painting and blasting industry.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  5. Current Working at Heights and Confined Space (less than 2 years old).
  6. Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card).
  7. Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.

  1. Competitive hourly rates of pay ranging between $55.00 (qualification/experience and project dependent).
  2. Standard working week of 40 – 60 hours, working hours per day with additional penalty rates offered for overtime, weekend, and public holiday work (site and project dependent).
