The opportunity to excel in the excavator attachments market has arrived with Cappro Pacific, a leading designer and supplier of high-quality buckets and specialized attachments.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our sales initiatives across Australia. As a National BDM, you will be responsible for developing and driving sales in under-serviced market segments, collaborating closely with local dealers, and fostering long-term partnerships that create mutual value.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage directly with clients in the construction and heavy equipment sectors to develop tailored solutions for their excavator bucket and attachment needs.
- Identify emerging market trends, ongoing construction projects, and sales opportunities that drive growth and profitability in the excavator attachment market.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with local dealers to enhance their sales capabilities and support business development efforts.
- Provide strategic guidance and training to dealers, promoting excavator attachments and buckets.
- Manage the transition of new clients to the aftersales team, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales within earthmoving, civil construction, mining, or related sectors.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, with a focus on high-value projects and tenders.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with experience in budgeting, sales forecasting, and developing business strategies.
- Ability to travel as required to engage with clients and business partners.
- Valid driver's license and Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
