Job Summary

The Data Warehouse Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing ETL/ELT jobs in Teradata using BTEQ, SQL, and utilities. They will also develop data models and data marts within the EDW environment.

This role requires strong expertise in Teradata, with a focus on developing scalable and efficient solutions.

  • Develop ETL/ELT jobs in Teradata using BTEQ, SQL, and utilities
  • Design and enhance data models and data marts within the EDW environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support data provisioning for downstream reporting tools and data consumers
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance of Teradata queries and load processes
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in Teradata (Vantage preferred) – SQL, BTEQ, Utilities
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling
  • Solid understanding of ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, or similar)
  • Proficient in performance tuning and workload management on Teradata
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M) and version control (Git)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Exposure to data governance and metadata tools
