Midwife Opportunity

Mater Mothers' Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in antenatal care, birth suites, and post-natal settings.

This role requires an enthusiastic and dedicated midwife who understands the philosophy of continuity of midwifery care. You will coordinate, assess, plan, and implement care for women covering the spectrum from antenatal to intrapartum and up to 6 weeks postnatal.

  • Providing continuity of care to women with a focus on evidence-based practice in both antenatal and postnatal periods
  • Working within the home environment with a strong understanding of partnerships with women and the multidisciplinary team
  • Supporting service development and data collection as part of the Midwifery Unit Manager's team

To be considered, applicants must have current registration with AHPRA, minimum 1-year postgraduate experience, and recent experience working in antenatal care, birth suites, and post-natal settings.
