About the Role

Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Orthopaedics ward at Mater Private Hospital Townsville.

This is a Permanent Part Time position working 32 hours per week, with a 24/7 rotating roster including early, late, night, and weekend shifts.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a Salary range: $41.79 - $53.03 (Registered Nurse Level 1) per hour, plus superannuation and NFP salary packaging up to $15,900.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
  • Provide technical assistance during procedures, ensuring excellent standards of nursing care at all times
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
  • Implement strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
