The successful candidate will be responsible for enriching the future of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing environment that supports the cultural identity, safety, and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and community.
- Support the inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, values, and cultural knowledge in daily practice.
- Deliver high-quality education and care in line with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Implement learning experiences under the guidance of Diploma-qualified educators to promote children's development.
- Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Valid Employee Victorian Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Driver's Licence and National Police Check.
- Completion of Protecting Children – Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector training.
