We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team at Lady Davidson Private Hospital in North Turramurra, Sydney.
About the Role:
- Provide occupational therapy services to individuals with a wide range of conditions in a hospital setting.
- Liaise and coordinate with referrers, staff, and outside agencies to support independent living.
- Interpret assessments and implications for patient management through verbal and written reports.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of policies and programs as appropriate.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy students and new graduate Occupational Therapists.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital setting.
- Clinical rehabilitation experience.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisation, time management, and self-management skills.
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Ability to work autonomously and identify program improvement activities.
- Proven excellence in customer service delivery.
- Ability to work within and provide leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
