Warehouse Assistant Job Description

This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, where you will be responsible for operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, packing and unpacking boxes, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to move goods around the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading trucks arriving at the facility
  • Packing and unpacking boxes for shipments
  • Storing received items within the warehouse
  • Using an RF scanner to pick items from shelves
  • Organising and distributing boxes for delivery
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation
  • Ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met
  • Performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and moving products

Successful applicants will be employed by a temporary agency on behalf of Amazon, requiring background checks, police checks, and a drug test. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
