Cloud Solutions Engineer

We're seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, testing and improvement of our custom solutions in the public cloud.

  • This role involves collaborating with internal customers and backup engineering/automation teams to manage, develop new features for and maintain/optimize our backup solution.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software development experience and be proficient in Java microservices, Spring Boot as a backend microservice framework, and ReactJS as a frontend framework. Experience with building and consuming REST APIs is also essential, as well as familiarity with AWS components such as EC2, ELB, S3, SNS/SQS etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Designing and developing custom solutions in the public cloud
  2. Providing core development capabilities to the Cloud Backup development team
  3. Collaborating with internal customers and backup engineering/automation teams
