We are seeking an experienced executive to lead our organisation, championing the interests and progress of Victoria's agricultural industry.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic leader with strong financial expertise and excellent communication skills to unite and guide our passionate team of professionals and volunteers. Reporting directly to the Board, you will ensure that the voices of our members are heard by government, industry, and the broader community.

To thrive in this role, you will:

  1. Provide leadership and direction to internal and external stakeholders, achieving key financial and operational targets aligned with defined KPIs.
  2. Uphold corporate governance with precision, integrity, and accountability.
  3. Leverage your financial expertise to manage risks, budgets, cash flow, and ensure accurate financial reporting while identifying opportunities for growth.
  4. Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to advance our promotion and growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams with success.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging effectively with stakeholders such as government agencies, political parties, industry groups, internal staff, and members.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen to guide decision-making and oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adapting to various audiences.
  • Commitment to undertaking and promoting initiatives in line with core values.
