The role of Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer is a crucial position in our Support Office Finance Team. We are seeking an incredibly proactive, thorough, and diligent individual to take up the reins.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the full AP process, organising and prioritising payments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals. The successful candidate will also manage and reconcile supplier payments including Corporate credit cards, manage the AR function, assisting with end-to-end processes, and facilitate clear communication.

Additionally, the team member will contribute to month-end close processes, participate in system improvements and troubleshooting, and assist with audit and ad hoc tasks. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and effective verbal and written communication abilities are essential for this role.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who possesses excellent problem-solving skills, is proficient with Microsoft Excel, and has experience working with SAP B1. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively and independently, have a proactive approach, and demonstrate a willingness to take on new responsibilities and support ongoing improvements in financial systems and processes.

As a vital member of our finance team, you will actively contribute to keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. ">Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role (preferably within a similar SME environment)
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable processes, financial risk, compliance, and collections
  • Experience working with SAP B1 and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with ability to work both collaboratively and independently
