
Multidisciplinary Family Violence Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team in providing safe and high-quality support to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence or requiring assistance with care and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the first point of contact, offering information, advice, and conducting risk assessments to guide appropriate responses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across partner organisations to provide comprehensive support services.
- Develop and implement tailored plans to address the needs of children, young people, and families.
- CURRENT Victorian Driver's License is required.
- A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification is the minimum requirement for this role.
- Relevant professional experience or a related qualification relevant to child and family welfare may also be considered.
- Significant cultural knowledge and experience or lived experience, having faced barriers to educational pathways, may also be considered.
- Familiarity with MARAM and Best Interests of the Child Framework is essential.
- Experience working within an intake setting is necessary.
- Previous experience in child and family services and/or family violence is highly desirable.
