**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the utilisation of data and analytics to inform insights that support decision making and drive actionable outcomes for the Group.

This is a mid-level position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements, opportunities, and resolve intermediate to complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality qualitative and quantitative analysis and reporting.
  • Apply and demonstrate the required level of testing of reporting and analytic solutions.
  • Contribute to increasing self-service capability of insights with Data Citizens.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary level qualification in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience (3+ years).
  • Working knowledge of modern data architectures, reporting, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Intermediate experience with SQL, Python, and R for exploratory and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in developing data visualizations and paginated reporting solutions within Power BI.
  • Exposure to data cleaning, enrichment, and data quality activities including metadata provisioning.
  • Exposure to Data-Ops enabling technologies and design methodologies including version control, CI/CD, and automation of test plans.
