About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary Engineering team. This permanent full-time position is available for an immediate start and the successful applicant will be involved in working a rotating roster, including afternoon and weekend shifts, public holidays, and participation in an on-call roster. The primary purpose of this position is to provide electrical maintenance and installation services to our facilities, adhering to relevant Australian Standards and Regulations, and ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained and operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance and installation services to our facilities, adhering to relevant Australian Standards and Regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering team to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient condition.
  • Participate in a rotating roster, including afternoon and weekend shifts, public holidays, and on-call roster.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and skills to ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and Regulations.

Requirements

  • Trade qualified Electrician with current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Demonstrated several years' satisfactory experience in commercial and industrial facilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude to assist in maintenance of industrial machinery.
  • Ability to be trained as a relieving operator for unattended 3MW Boilers.
  • Participate in afternoon shift, on-call roster, and provide after-hours service as required.
  • Sound literacy and computer skills to maintain Engineering Department records as required.
  • Computer skills required to monitor, control, and diagnose faults in equipment and systems.
  • Current Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Experience in fault finding electronic systems and equipment.
  • Experience in power generation.
  • PLC operating experience.
