About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Italian speaking support worker to assist clients with daily activities.

  • Provide direct care assistance, including personal hygiene support, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support.
  • Assist clients in maintaining a clean-living environment through light housekeeping duties.
  • Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in activities enhancing physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Establish positive relationships through effective communication, active listening, and understanding individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  • Report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or wellbeing promptly.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A qualification in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in social care is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance.
  • Australian Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • COVID-19 Fully vaccinated (Aged care industry standard).
  • First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.
