Aged Care Support Worker

At HammondCare, we are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Specialised Carers. As a Specialised Carer, you will provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.

The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car, for which you'll be paid $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time. Your care work may include:

  • Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
  • Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication

We offer a range of benefits, including:

  • $29.56 to $32.45 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided
  • Full training is given to all our Care Workers, no experience is necessary
  • Secure employment on a 14 day perm part-time roster so you can plan ahead
  • Salary packaging - up to $15,900 tax free
  • Fitness Passport membership
  • First Aid Certificate provided and paid for by us
  • Paid Certificate III in Aged Care training available if you want to progress

You will be required to undertake a Police Check, Functional assessment, provide two referees and evidence of minimum 2 COVID-19 vaccinations.
