Overview:

The role of Store Manager is a key position within our business, responsible for leading the store team and driving sales growth.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position based at Brookvale, NSW.
  • Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be part of our Gyprock business, assisting in customer service, sales, warehouse duties, and leading the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety and well-being within the factory.
  • Manage the store's sales and operational activities, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Promote and manage catalogue sales and campaigns in the store to drive category sales and maintain margin.
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Inventory and State Manager to ensure inventory is executed according to national direction and improvement opportunities are identified.
  • Ensure compliance with retail standards and behaviors, including housekeeping, merchandising, and presentation.
  • Monitor and coach employees under your direct supervision, ensuring performance and training plans are achieved.
  • A fork lift licence is desirable but willingness to obtain is required.

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 6am-3pm.
  • Saturdays: Rotating fortnightly (or as required) 7am-11am.
