We're seeking a dynamic junior café team member to join our busy Echo Café in Currambine and Joondalup.

This role is ideal for students or individuals eager to develop their skills in customer service, food handling, and coffee preparation.

As a junior barista, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking orders and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Mixing beverages and assisting with food preparation and serving
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment

To excel in this position, you'll require:

  • A positive attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Familiarity with basic food safety and hygiene practices
  • The ability to work at both locations, with some flexibility on weekdays and mostly weekends

No prior experience is necessary; we offer comprehensive barista training and a latte art course.

You can expect varied shifts, including weekends, with most hours falling between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. If you enjoy interacting with customers, working in a fast-paced environment, and creating delicious beverages, we'd love to meet you

Please note that obtaining a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate may be required by the City of Joondalup for small businesses, so it's essential to have this in place before commencing employment.
