About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Cairns, Australia. As a key member of our Transport group, you will be responsible for delivering civil design projects to a high standard, within budget and on time. Your expertise will be utilized to undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work on a diverse range of projects, including coastal engineering paths, bikeways, and civil components of major developments.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and delivering civil infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time;
  2. Communicating and liaising with clients and authorities while delivering projects drawings and reports;
  3. Developing and nurturing relationships within AECOM and local industry;
  4. Managing and coordinating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards);
  2. 4+ years' experience with project management and technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects;
  3. Familiarity with 3D modelling software such as 12D or Civil 3D in Civil Infrastructure projects;
  4. Passion for delivering high quality, technical work;
  5. Experience working in an Engineering consultancy will be an advantage.
