Swimming Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at Mill Park Leisure Centre. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to our members, promoting water safety and confidence in the water.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified swimming teacher who is passionate about working with children and promoting the importance of water safety. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced swimmers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of our members
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for our members
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure their child's needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve our goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Current AustSwim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
