About the Role

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Petstock Retail Pty Ltd team as a Retail Sales Assistant. As an inspired member of our team, you'll be part of a dynamic and inclusive environment where everyone can proudly be themselves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring memorable and meaningful interactions with customers.
  • Inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets, leveraging your knowledge and expertise.
  • Complete sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals and contribute to the team's success.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a visually appealing store, ensuring all latest stock is on the shelves.
  • Stay up-to-date on pet care, products, and services, and contribute to a fun and supportive culture within the store.
  • Embody a strong safety mindset, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for animals and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in a similar retail environment, with a demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to lift products up to 20kgs.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
