We are a dynamic fast food chain seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team on the Gold Coast.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a young team to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage employees, including juniors, to ensure efficient store operations;
  • Train and develop all staff to achieve outstanding performance and customer satisfaction;
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed;
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance;
  • Monitor store performance against KPIs and implement improvements as necessary;
  • Rostering, inventory management, ordering, and reporting;
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner;
  • Prepare food, including use of deep fryer and grill, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment;
  • Cash handling and register operation;
  • Ensure store cleanliness and maintenance is maintained at all times.
Requirements

  • Strong demonstrated management experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment;
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a young team to achieve set goals;
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences;
  • A strong understanding of and ability to enforce food safety regulations;
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively;
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations;
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation;
  • Training and development experience, with a passion for helping others to grow and succeed;
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a friendly attitude and a genuine passion for the fast food industry.
Mandatory Requirements

In order to be eligible for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current Food Safety Certificate (I'm Alert Food Safety Course - FREE online);
  • Working rights (passport and visa grant for international workers);
  • An RSA Certificate, which can be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment.
