Responsibilities Overview
  • Loading and unloading aircraft baggage efficiently is essential.
  • Transferring luggage safely to and from aircraft requires attention to detail.
  • Baggage handling involves repetitive tasks with weights up to 35 kg.
  • Working in various weather conditions and confined spaces demands flexibility.
  • Collaboration with team members ensures smooth operations, including accurate sorting, loading, and unloading of baggage and cargo.
  • Effective management of baggage flow for departing and arriving flights using sorting equipment and manual handling techniques is crucial.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, 24 hours a day.
  • Good physical fitness for lifting up to 32 kg is necessary.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods is required.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills are expected.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow are desired qualities.
  • Australian citizenship or residency with unlimited work rights is required.
  • Possession of a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation is mandatory.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
