**Student Wellbeing Consultant**
We are seeking a qualified Psychologist or Social Worker to provide student wellbeing consultancy services to our College community.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in mental health, learning, and behaviour to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural growth.
- Wellbeing Consultancy:
- Work closely with teachers to identify students at risk and develop targeted support plans.
- Conduct wellbeing assessments and develop strategies to promote student resilience and coping skills.
- Liaise with external mental health providers to access specialist support services for students.
- Professional Development:
- Design and deliver workshops on student wellbeing, stress management, and self-care strategies for teachers and parents.
- Collaborate with the College leadership team to develop policies and procedures related to student wellbeing and support services.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the development of programs and initiatives that promote student wellbeing.
- Research and Evaluation:
- Conduct research on best practices in student wellbeing and support services.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of student wellbeing programs and services.
- Disseminate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the College leadership team.
1. Experience in conducting wellbeing assessments and developing support plans for students.
2. Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, learning theories, and evidence-based practices in education.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
5. Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a willingness to learn new skills and knowledge to enhance student wellbeing services.
