Virtual Assistant for Operations Support

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Virtual Assistant to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Virtual Assistant, you will provide administrative support, manage tasks, and ensure seamless operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in administration, accounting, and customer service. You will work remotely with flexibility based on company needs.

  • Job Title: Virtual Assistant
  • Employment Type: Long-term (subject to performance during a 6-month probationary period)
  • Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
  • Working Hours: Flexible, within Sydney time zone (7:00am – 5:00pm AEST)

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent organisational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, and CRM tools.

You will also need to be able to collaborate with the operations manager and work independently, with a quiet home office setup to ensure productivity during meetings and phone calls.

A reliable laptop or desktop with a minimum of 8GB RAM and good processing capacity, as well as a quality smartphone to access company platforms and apps, are essential requirements for this role.

Reliable transportation is not required as the role is remote. However, a willingness to work within Sydney time zone hours is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the operations team
  2. Manage tasks and ensure seamless operations
  3. Collaborate with the operations manager to achieve goals and objectives
  4. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, and CRM tools
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
