A leading engineering firm is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Project Engineer.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate construction and procurement activities to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and managing project engineering and construct packages, guiding and achieving timely decision-making, and supervising scopes of services and facilities across all disciplines.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing simple plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.

Delivering accurate and meaningful project reports identifying, defining, and closing out risk will also be an essential part of the role.

About The Role
  • Project engineering coordination dealing with construction and procurement to ensure overall project schedule, targets achieved.
  • Monitor and ensure overall project engineering and construct packages-buildings, utilities, earthworks and other packages, guiding and achieving timely decision-making.
  • Effectively supervise scopes of services and scopes of facilities/work across all disciplines and including engineering, procurement and construction, managing effectively the scope changes and trends – actively identify quantity, cost and time trends and manage the change process.
  • Prepare simple plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research and development assignments.
  • Working on supply and construct packages managing effectively the scope changes and trends.
  • Deliver accurate and meaningful project reports identifying, defining and closing out risk.
About You
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience, with multidiscipline construction experience.
  • Proven experience in the delivery of EPCM projects within (including field based experience) working on complex / heavy process industry projects.
  • Proven experience in subcontractor management within a construction environment.
  • Willingness to transition to site-based rosters in line with project requirements.
