About the Opportunity

The College is seeking a qualified Secondary teacher to lead, develop and implement curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment from NSW Syllabuses from a Christian perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and develop the PDHPE curriculum, ensuring it aligns with NSW Syllabuses and meets the needs of students.
  • To teach PDHPE and second area subjects, utilizing best practices in pedagogy and classroom management.
  • To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, supporting students in achieving their full potential.
  • To collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies that promote excellence in education.
  • To contribute to the development of the School's community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant teaching experience and qualifications.
  2. Ability to lead and manage a team, promoting collaboration and communication among staff.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  4. Capacity to design and deliver high-quality curriculum and assessments, aligned with NSW Syllabuses and meeting the needs of diverse learners.
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in education and technology.
