Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to join our dynamic team as a Logistics Commercial Analyst.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with internal divisions to optimize cost, proactively partner with key stakeholders to develop strategies that maximize revenue and profitability, and prepare and present clear, concise reports to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review quotation requests and prepare pricing proposals for internal and external customers for logistics services.
  • Collaborate with internal divisions to collect data and understand operational processes to optimize cost.
  • Proactively partner with key stakeholders to develop strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports to the leadership team, guiding them in making informed decisions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Commerce, Business, or Logistics or related field with advanced skills analyzing complex data, developing models, and providing insights.
  • Proven experience in commercial analysis, logistics solutions, or related roles within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; proficiency in Excel. SQL, Power BI, and data visualization tools are a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong influencing skills to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, build trust, and demonstrate professionalism and expertise.
  • Strategic mindset with a knack for translating data into actionable business strategies.
  • Collaborative attitude, comfortable working across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and problem-solving.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
