Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer to deliver engineering design and commissioning across electrical and control systems for major mining and resources projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering design and commissioning across electrical and control systems
  • Prepare specifications, test plans, technical documentation, and user manuals
  • Develop PLC/SCADA software and configure supporting systems
  • Perform FAT, site commissioning, and provide ongoing technical support

The role will see you working on designing, developing, and commissioning electrical and control systems for major mining and resources projects. This is a controls-focused position with a strong hands-on element and scope to lead and mentor others.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Control Systems, or related field

5+ years' relevant experience in industrial projects

Strong PLC/SCADA background (Rockwell ControlLogix preferred, GE Proficy desirable)

Exposure to electrical design across plant installations and expansions

Experience in mining, minerals processing, or bulk materials handling environments

CPEng accreditation or working towards it highly regarded
