About the Role:

The Australian Defence Force is seeking highly skilled Marine Technicians to join their team. As a Marine Technician, you will be part of a dynamic and diverse workforce, working on a wide range of Army marine equipment.

You will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, modifying, and reconditioning complex mechanical systems, including those found on Army Special Operations watercraft and "LARC V" amphibious vehicles.

With opportunities for career growth and development through specialized training courses, you will be able to expand your technical knowledge and expertise in areas such as HVAC, electronic, and hydraulic systems.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with other teams to diagnose, maintain, and repair the Army's fleet of marine equipment. You will also have the opportunity to work on advanced vessel systems and perform safety and technical inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems
  • Work with specialized teams on advanced vessel systems
  • Perform safety and technical inspections
  • Participate in maintenance and repair activities
  • Undertake general soldiering duties

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
