About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our graduate program as Graduate Research Economists and Graduate Policy Analysts. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of key policy challenges facing Australia, providing advice to the government on ways to improve the economic and social wellbeing of all Australians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake independent research and analysis to inform policy advice
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, and community groups
  • Contribute to the development of policy advice and reports
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Relevant academic qualification (undergraduate degree or higher) in economics, commerce, mathematics and statistics, public policy, law, social sciences, Indigenous studies, environmental science, or other fields relevant to public policy
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform policy advice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives
