Japanese Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Japanese Teacher to join our vibrant academic community.

• Develop and deliver lesson plans to achieve specific student outcomes, fostering a love of learning in students.
• Utilize critical reflection to improve knowledge, skills and pedagogy for students.
• Support and promote the values and ethos of our institution based on its mission and vision.
• Teach the Australian curriculum in a context that reflects our institution's values and ethos.

• Embed the characteristics and values of our institution in all aspects of learning and teaching.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning within the school and wider education sector.
• Lead daily class devotions to students, promoting spiritual growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students in Years 7-12.

They will also be expected to contribute to the development of the Japanese language and culture program at our institution.

• Bachelor of Education or relevant qualification.
• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
